A photo ID, a list of the medicines you take, and your plan's details. Your dentist can send X-rays ahead.
Ask about fees
You can have the fee for an exam before you come. Ask when you book.
What you'll hear at the first visit
Dr. Abe starts by listening.
She asks what you've noticed and what's been done to the tooth, looks at it, takes the X-rays she needs and shows you what she sees. If the tooth needs treatment, you hear the options, the range of visits, what each costs and what happens if you wait. You leave with the estimate in writing.
